Central Journal for Occupational Medicine

The "Central Journal for Occupational Medicine, Occupational Health and Safety and Ergonomics 2/2009" published the study conducted by Dr. Fritz Andreas Schön and Dr. Dieter Preim on dynamic sitting under various workplace conditions. It highlights the fact that the technical features of the office chair play a key role in determining the way that a person sits on it.

Investigation into individual seat-tilt angles, "Central Journal for Occupational Medicine, Occupational Health and Safety and Ergonomics, issue 3, 2000"

Research proves that dynamic sitting in a balanced seated posture with an average seat-tilt angle of -8° is optimum.
