With “TakeOver automatic”, Dauphin, a trendsetter in the fields of seat research and seat ergonomics, is presenting a new office swivel chair which brings dynamism to the sitting process. It does this fully automatically, without the user having to adjust the chair in advance. Natural movement stimuli are not suppressed here, they are encouraged – continuously and effectively.

This fully automatic active seated posture is made possible thanks to Dauphin’s patented “Daumatic” feature. The seat and backrest automatically follow the movements of the person sitting with a simultaneous movement process. When the optional automatic seat-tilt adjustment system (“Daumatic-Balance”) is released, the seat is lowered forwards to -5° when necessary, taking pressure off the thighs and encouraging an upright seated posture. The backrest counterpressure automatically adjusts to the user’s particular body weight and can also be individually finely adjusted.

“TakeOver automatic” is the ideal seating solution for monitor workstations or workstations with frequently alternating users. Thanks to its automatic body-weight adjustment feature, natural movement stimuli are encouraged and incorrect postures caused by the chair being incorrectly adjusted are ruled out.

The striking Y-support integrated into the backrest is available either in aluminium or plastic and gives the chair its unmistakable appearance – a perfect combination of dynamic sitting, pleasant comfort and unique design. The textile backrest featuring either a woven mesh fabric or a high-tech knitted fabric is available in four modern colours. In addition, it is optionally available in a fully upholstered version.
