Made for sharing: Indeed automatic adjusts automatically to the weight of the person sitting on it and this makes it perfect for flexible workstations.
With innovative features and a minimalist design, it impresses with its intelligent engineering.
Intelligently engineered, material-efficient and designed for short transport routes.
Experience it for yourself …
The backrest counterpressure adjusts automatically to suit the weight of different users. This makes it very easy for multiple "chair users" to switch between working from home and the office.
Indeed automatic impresses with its innovative slat technology that enables it to adjust to the weight of its user all by itself. The open structure makes the Automatic mechanism an integral part of the overall design concept.
"The lines are both dynamic and balanced because the backrest support sweeps up directly to the front edge of the seat. Reduced design meets material-efficient construction: during the development process, components and material usage were specifically optimized."
The certifications confirm compliance with the respective certification criteria on which they are based.
Sustainability is a key factor in the design concept of Indeed automatic:
Indeed automatic is on average around 10% lighter than a comparably equipped Indeed with Syncro-Evolution® technology. The lower weight reduces material usage and makes handling easier.
The optional Sealife upholstery fabric is made from SEAQUAL® YARN. According to the material supplier, the recycled polyester used contains at least 10% recycled marine plastic.
Dauphin has joined the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE to do its bit to help clean up the oceans.
With the disassembled shipping option, the packaging volume is up to 60% lower than that of the pre-assembled shipment of the same model. Depending on the delivery configuration, this allows more chairs to be transported per shipping unit. The reduced packaging volume can also enable more efficient use of transport capacity, depending on the delivery setup.
A significant share of the components is sourced from suppliers located within a radius of approximately 30 km of the production site in Offenhausen. This helps to shorten transport distances for these components.
Measures to reduce material usage and transport requirements
In the development and production of Indeed automatic, we focus on, among other things, a lower product weight, reduced packaging volume, recycled materials in selected components, and the regional sourcing of some components.
Indeed automatic carries the Blue Angel ecolabel for the variants specified in the certificate. The environmental label confirms compliance with the award criteria defined for this product group. Details on the scope of application and certificate validity can be found here.
Simple. For everyone: The chair's design has been reduced to as few individual components as possible, allowing it to be assembled within 2 minutes without using tools. You can choose whether to receive the chair fully preassembled or wrapped in film.
Sealife with 10% marine plastic
A real lightweight.
For a healthy environment and clean oceans.
Smart thinking and clever design: The novel Motionflex®-Automatic mechanism produces the counterforce from the material. This means that Indeed automatic adapts automatically to the weight of its user. Make use of the additional comfort features and adapt Indeed automatic optimally to suit your agile style of working!
Whether focus, collaboration or flexibility – discover which Indeed is your perfect everyday companion.
The backrest can be locked in the forwardmost position. It's best to unlock it, lean back and relax – up to an opening angle of 125° from the backrest to the seat.
As individual as you: Adapt your Indeed automatic optimally to your height.
The infinite seat-height adjustment gives you free scope to do this.
How close together should the seat and backrest be?
You can decide by adjusting the seat depth. The practical sliding seat gives you up to 6 cm to play with.
A matter of course for Indeed automatic! Indeed has a two-stage seat tilt adjustment (0°/-4°).
Use the seat tilt for an active sitting posture!
The optimum height of the lumbar support? At your waistline!
On Indeed automatic you can alter the depth by using the handwheel to move the lumbar pad forwards or backwards.
For even more support. The lumbar pad is also available comfortably upholstered.
Precisely positioned – optimally supported. The backrest can be easily adjusted in six steps to the desired height while seated. Perfect support is guaranteed!
The ergonomic box-spring seat is equipped with a point-elastic micro-pocket spring core that absorbs weight and pressure perfectly. Uncomfortable pressure on the bottoms of the thighs is prevented.
Technical specifications may vary by model.
Top seated comfort thanks to point-elastic micro-pocket spring core. How you benefit:
This is ergonomic high performance!
